With the Royal wedding between Kate Middleton and Prince William fast approaching (how is it already March?!) what Kate Middleton will be wearing on the big day is a hotly talked about topic. What will the bride to be wear on her big day, will Kate Middleton wear a British designer for the wedding or go for something totally unexpected?

Royal wedding fashion talk has now shifted from who will be designing her dress to what the future Queen to be will be wearing on her feet! What will be the Royal wedding shoes? Footwear News asked some of the worlds top footwear designers to sketch their designs for the Royal wedding shoes for Kate Middleton. From Manolo Blahnik to Guiseppe Zanotti here is what these top footwear designers have sketched for the Royal wedding footwear - one word Excited! Take a look at the five beautiful designs for the royal wedding footwear.  Which one is perfect for a princess? 

Guiseppe Zanotti Royal Wedding Footwear Sketch

Guiseppe Zanotti stated “I wanted her shoes to match the classic and sophisticated elements of her ring, but with a younger, modern edge. Jewelry for the feet is my DNA, so designing for a princess comes very naturally.” Zanotti in true Zanotti style opted for something more unusual and less obvious. The design shows a black satin sandal with a large sapphire centerpiece.

The footwear designer Georgina designed an antique Welsh lace pump, covered in Scottish seed pearls. The British designer added "Something old and at the same time mirroring Kate’s fresh modernity. ... I have aimed for a balance between history and femininity fitting the occasion; a kind of luxury recycling.” Designer shoe God Manolo Blahnik designed a sketch that is the epitome of a princess with ivory silk and organza lilies representing the freshness of spring which he believes represents Kate Middleton.

Footwear designer Cesare Casadei said about his design  "I can see Kate dancing all night in this 'new tango' heel." And lets face it who wouldn't want to dance all night in that shoe beauty?!  He sketched a single-soled silk pump with jeweled straps and embroidered floral details. Rene Caovilla added multicolor Swarovski gems to accent his white satin t-strap sandal design. The designer stated “This shoe is fit for a princess because the sandal is elegant, sexy and precious, and it suggests a magical atmosphere. Do you agree?
