It has been announced that the wedding dress fit for a princess is in the running for a top design award. Kate Middleton's wedding dress is up for Design Of The Year! The Design of the Year is awarded by the Design Museum, dubbed as the Oscars of the design world it is a hotly anticipated event. The designs up for awards fall into seven categories, architecture, fashion, furniture, graphics and product and transport. The winners will be announced at an Awards Night held at the Design Museum on April 24.
Kate Middleton's wedding dress is up against the Olympic torch for the prestigious title of Design Of The Year. The Olympic torch was created by east London design duo Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby.
