Read her interview and find out about her ultimate Festival Fashion must haves for this Summers festivals. As well as the 'witch' that she met at Glastonbury this year that led her to 'Shangrila' who turned out to be one of our fave red haired signers who fronts a little band called Florence And The Machine - hmmm.....

Which festival has been your fave so far this year and why?

My heart belongs to Glasto..... It was so full of sunshine and cheer it didn't matter that I was working!! I was presenting live from the fields for the BBC3 coverage and there was something magical in the air. I also managed to find the time to get lost in the depths of an area called 'Shangrila' one evening after filming, my boyfriend and I were led down a secret passage by a girl dressed as a witch that ended up being Florence Welch, to a bar where she started serving cocktails! This was just behind an incredible banging set by DJ Annie Mac! Bizarre and unexpected - just how I like it!

How would you describe your Festival Fashion?

Bedraggled and colourful!

If you had to pick one of Kindred Sole's Festival Fabulous footwear to wear to a festival which one would you pick?

The Winifred Riding Boot  with some knee high socks and denim cut offs. Please!

What product/clothing could you not live without at festivals?

A jumpsuit of some sort!

Who has been your favourite headline act so far this year and why?

I sat in the poetry tent at this years Latitude Festival for a couple of hours on the Saturday night. I was blown away by three astonishingly genre defying spoken word artists (of sorts) that were all totally different. They left me really thinking about why we always feel we need to put music, comedy or poetry into a box?! They have to be checked out right away by whoever is reading this! Brigitte Aphrodite, Kate Tempest and Laura Dockrill

Who do you think has got the best festival look this summer?

Urm..... Brigitte Aphrodite mentioned above! Plus you can't really mess with Florence's feisty outfit choices so far this season!

Have you got an all time Festival anthem?

I'll never forget watching Jay Z at Glasto that year and feeling mind blown by the whole crowd signing 'Girls, Girls, Girls' in unison!

If you could plan and host your very own festival who would be your headline act?

Well it's funny that I mentioned Jay Z above because I think it'd be his other half.... Beyonce the whole way! But I'd want her to do an unexpected collaboration with the Strokes.

What are your festival Do's and Don'ts?

Do take Berocca and don't take drugs!

You've just booked tickets to your fave festival - But - you are supposed to be on 1Xtra breakfast show that morning.... Do you:

A) Give up your ticket *sad face*

B) Tell Trevor he's got to ride solo - it's online 1 show, right?!

C) Plan a sicky

D) Tell the producer you've had an amazing idea that you could report live from the festival - everyone's happy!

Try D ?!!

What do you think to Gemma Cairney's Festival Fashion must haves? Have you been to Glastonbury or are you heading to V Festival/Reading? If so don't forget the Berocca and your Winifred Riding Boots so you can be the fashion envy at the music hot-spot!
