Whilst we were flicking through "Elle Collections - Autumn-Winter 2010" - initially looking at the pretty pictures we had to stop at the "Shoes and Socks" feature. Fans of Kindred Sole and our blog will know we have had a love affair with Shoes and Stock styling this season...its set to continue >

Throughout our buying season for Autumn Winter 2010-2011 for Kindred Sole we couldn't help but notice the influx in fur fashion that was going to be hitting our high street and computer screens later on in the year. At first Beth and I thought this is going to be a micro-trend that will pass quickly however as the buying season went on and Autumn fashion issues of magazines started to hit the shelves it was confirmed it was actually going to be a rather big trend - if the designers and media pack had anything to do with it anyway.

But we want to know what the consumers think....

Here at Kindred Sole we have been loving the Block Colour trend for quite some time. Our Block Pump Hi heels have been one of our best sellers, they are statement making and not for the faint hearted, wear them with the right outfit and you have instant Spot Light style! But what about block colouring in other ways? 

Block colour shoes? Without a doubt - Block Colour dresses - Of course! Block Colour lipstick a la Kesha? - Not so sure! Will you be wearing blue lipstick as Kesha did for the "Shock The World Event" in NYC? Yeh her blue lips matched her casio watch - So was it just a promotional stunt or will blue, green and black lips be the trend we bow down to next?! Barry M have launched their Robot Blue lipstick - so who knows!

Gemma Cairney, the lucky lady who gets to have breakfast every morning with DJ Trevor Nelson at the BBC whilst co-presenting 1Xtra is  one style savvy lady!
