Today February 11 2011 sadly marks the first year anniversary to Alexander McQueen's sad and untimely death. Not only was Alexander McQueen synonymous with extra-oridnary fashion but Alexander McQueen shoes were a signature style for him - These are some of our favourite statement making Alexander McQueen Sculpture Shoes - Practical perhaps not but WOW are they amazing, more like pieces of art! Some of Alexander McQueen's shoes such as the Armadillo heels Fig 1 are 10" tall with huge platforms they are almost 'Claw' like with an 'Alien' edge to them. These are also known as Alexander McQueen Sculpture Heels  and we can certainly see why!

Celebrities in Alexander McQueen designs - Not only was Alexander McQueen highly respected within the fashion world but he had the 'celeb approval' With the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker coveting his designs and wearing them on numerous occasions (the pair became good friends) Cheryl Cole the nations sweetheart knows how to rock an edgy pushing the envelope Alexander McQueen dress and of course Lady GaGa is the epitome of Alexander McQueens crazy styles - check her out in the Armadillo Heels!
