Paris:- Following the launch of 'Vintage Sole' Beth and Liz of course had to check out the Vintage stores in Bon Paris!! Their favourite was a little boutique called Free 'P' Star. The store is packed from the "windows to the walls" with vintage shoes, boots, bags and every type of clothing you can imagine. Although it has to be said their first stop once landing in Paris was Sephora - Beth and Liz would be lost without their Scultping Disc.

The Creative Industries De Montfort University

Fame:- If you have followed Liz and Beth's story with Kindred Sole you will know the girls set up the business prior to graduating from Fashion Retail Buying from De Montfort University. Kindred Sole is currently supported by The Innovation Centre at DMU and Beth and Liz were asked to take part in FAME as part of The Creative Industries Show 2010. Beth and Liz enjoyed advising people on their potential start up business ideas and a Q&A's session with other fantastic start up business's including Jenny Creasey, Rachael Smith and Yaqub Shabudin from Pigment Design Studios. Beth and Liz were also fortunate enough to meet 1Xtra DJ Trevor Nelson who was extremely positive on the Kindred Sole brand and was also very inspirational. He worked in a shoe shop back in the day -Trevor certainly knows his Jimmy Choo's from his Manolo's!!

'POTW' & 1Xtra:- Thursday is the best day of the week for Kindred Sole customers as it means 'Pick Of The Week' . Every week Liz and Beth choose a shoe and review it, explaining why it was put in Kindred Sole's debut collection, why it is unique and of course give everyone a special discount. This week it was the turn of Winifred Riding Boot by Laura J London which has been named as "riding boot perfection" by Grazia magazine.

Following the success of FAME and meeting Trevor Nelson, Liz and Beth were delighted to listen to 1Xtra radio and hear Kindred Sole get mentioned (Listen here to 11/03/2010 show, 23mins into recording). Kindred Sole's going to hook Trevor's co host on the showGemma Cairney up with some fabulous shoes!
